A Gift For You!

Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from our Heavenly Father. (James 1:17)

Salvation (eternal life) is God’s gift to the world (that includes you!). There is nothing you can do to earn the gift (i.e. be a good person, attend church service, or even pastor a church). God’s gift of salvation is available to you by his grace. (Ephesians 2: 8-9)

You have a choice. Like any gift that is offered to you, you have the right to receive the gift or reject the gift of salvation. When you willingly refuse to receive salvation (eternal life), you are accepting eternal death. (Deuteronomy 30:19)

God loves you so much that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus), so that if you choose to believe in Him (Jesus), you shall have eternal life. Jesus came to earth not to condemn the world, but that through Him the world might be saved. (John 3:16-17)

God makes it simple to receive salvation – Believe and Receive! If you confess (or say) with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead then you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)
Whosoever (this includes you) calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

To receive salvation say the following prayer with conviction:

A Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross bearing my sins, and God raised Him from the dead. I repent from my sins and come to you. According to Your Word, I confess with my mouth and believe with my heart that Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior; and therefore receive your gift of salvation.

If you said the above prayer and believed, you have received salvation and made a wonderful, life-changing decision. You became a new person the moment that you recited the above prayer. You are no longer your own. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

To continue with your spiritual journey: Pray to God and read his Word (the Bible) daily; Pray to God to lead you to a church that will provide you with his Word, teach you how to live a life that is pleasing to him, and guide you into his purpose for your life.
